NETCO Post CEO Joins Malaysia–Viet Nam CEO Forum in Hanoi

Ms. Wong Yinn-Ein shares how NETCO Post is combining local strength with GDEX’s regional network Hanoi, Vietnam | 28 October 2026. NETCO Post is proud to announce that its CEO, Ms. Wong Yinn-Ein, took part in the Malaysia–Viet Nam CEO Forum in Hanoi on 28 October 2026. She joined a panel of leaders from Malaysian companies that have built lasting businesses in Vietnam, to discuss regional logistics integration, cross-border supply chains and the opportunities between the two markets.

A strong local base, connected to a regional network

NETCO Post has long focused on the Vietnamese market and on domestic business customers. Since GDEX assumed direct control in November 2025, the priority has been to retain that local operating knowledge while improving governance and connecting NETCO Post more closely with GDEX’s regional network.
One practical result is the establishment of a Malaysia–Viet Nam lane. NETCO Post is also assessing additional international lanes through partnerships. This is a gradual extension of the existing domestic platform, not a shift away from Viet Nam.

Reach, technology and a real-time command centre

NETCO Post’s operating platform covers 34 provinces and cities and includes online tracking, real-time delivery updates, API connectivity, centralised order management and KPI-based operations. NETCO Post is also applying relevant GDEX practices in governance, performance oversight and accountability. GDEX and NETCO Post are now developing a real-time logistics command centre to consolidate operational information, improve visibility and help identify service exceptions earlier.

Broader services for business customers

NETCO Post has recently received licences covering information technology businesses, customs services, forklift trading and transportation solutions. These create scope for services alongside delivery, including digital integration, customs support, equipment and transport solutions. The business remains B2B-focused, with services tailored to each customer’s shipment profile, systems and commercial requirements.

Sustainability from 2027

GDEX began its electric-vehicle transition in 2024, and NETCO Post plans to begin a similar journey in 2027. The pace may differ in Vietnam, where fluctuating diesel prices and the ESG requirements of multinational customers could strengthen the case for adoption. The transition will be assessed against operating conditions, vehicle suitability, charging availability and total cost.

Opportunities between Malaysia and Vietnam

Looking at Vietnamese companies entering Malaysia, Ms. Wong suggested starting with clearly defined trade lanes or customer segments, understanding Malaysia’s customs, regulatory and service requirements, and developing the operating model in stages with suitable local partners. She sees potential in cross-border transport, customs support, warehousing, digital shipment visibility and specialised B2B solutions. Vietnamese companies may also find opportunities by continuing to support customers or supply chains they already serve as those businesses expand into Malaysia. Ultimately, she said, success in either market depends on combining local knowledge with reliable execution, clear governance and the right partnerships.

What’s next
