Strategic investment strengthens operational capabilities and expands integrated logistics solutions for businesses across Northern Vietnam

Hung Yen, Vietnam – 21 July 2026 – NETCO today officially launched its Northern Regional Operations Hub at Mapletree Hung Yen, marking a significant milestone in the company's long-term strategy to strengthen operational capabilities, enhance customer experience, and support the growing logistics demands of businesses across Vietnam.

The new facility represents more than an expansion of physical infrastructure. It reflects NETCO's ongoing investment in operational excellence, digital transformation, governance, and customer-centric logistics solutions as the company continues to strengthen its position as a trusted logistics partner for business customers.

Strategically Positioned to Serve Northern Vietnam

Located within Mapletree Logistics Park Hung Yen, the Northern Regional Operations Hub enjoys a strategic location at the heart of Northern Vietnam's manufacturing and logistics corridor.

The hub offers excellent connectivity to Hanoi, Noi Bai International Airport, Hai Phong Port and Vietnam's major expressway network, enabling efficient transportation throughout key industrial provinces including Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen and Quang Ninh.

Its proximity to some of Vietnam's largest industrial parks positions NETCO to better support multinational manufacturers, exporters, distributors and local enterprises operating across Northern Vietnam.

By strengthening transportation connectivity and improving operational responsiveness, the new hub enables shorter transit times, greater network flexibility and improved service reliability for customers.

Designed to Support Business Customers

Built on a 3,000-square-metre facility, the Northern Regional Operations Hub has been developed primarily to support NETCO's growing portfolio of business customers.

The facility is capable of processing up to 1,000 CBM or 100 tonnes of cargo per day, significantly increasing the company's operational capacity while providing greater flexibility to accommodate future business growth.

NETCO currently serves customers across a wide range of industries, including banking and financial services, electronics, garment and textile manufacturing, cosmeceuticals, consumer goods, and other manufacturing sectors where reliability, security and operational efficiency are essential.

As supply chains continue to evolve, businesses increasingly require logistics partners capable of providing not only transportation, but also integrated logistics solutions that improve operational visibility, reduce complexity and support business continuity.

Expanding Integrated Logistics Solutions

The new hub further strengthens NETCO's ability to provide comprehensive logistics solutions beyond express transportation.

Customers can now benefit from enhanced warehouse fulfillment services, including warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, picking and packing, cross-docking and nationwide distribution.

These integrated capabilities allow businesses to consolidate multiple logistics functions under a single provider, improving inventory control, reducing lead times and increasing overall supply chain efficiency.

NETCO believes this integrated approach enables customers to focus on growing their businesses while relying on a trusted logistics partner to manage increasingly complex operational requirements.

Introducing Secure Handling Services

As part of its continuous service enhancement strategy, NETCO is also expanding into Secure Handling Services for high-value and security-sensitive shipments.

The service has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of industries such as banking, electronics and premium consumer products, where security and chain-of-custody are critical.

Supported by controlled-access facilities, comprehensive CCTV surveillance, standardized operating procedures and specially trained personnel, Secure Handling Services provide customers with greater confidence that valuable shipments are protected throughout the logistics process.

Investing Beyond Infrastructure

According to Mr. Teong Teck Lean, Chairman of NETCO and Group CEO of GDEX, the launch of the Northern Regional Operations Hub represents another important milestone in NETCO's long-term development.

'This is not simply about opening a new operations hub. It is about preparing NETCO for the future and ensuring we can better support our customers as their businesses continue to grow.'

Mr. Teong explained that infrastructure investment is only one part of NETCO's broader transformation journey.

Over the past year, the company has been implementing initiatives to standardize operational processes, strengthen customer service capabilities, accelerate digital transformation, enhance corporate governance and improve collaboration across business functions.

NETCO is also investing in technology platforms that provide greater operational visibility, improve data-driven decision-making and create a more seamless customer experience.

'Before talking about growth, we want to ensure we have the right foundation in place. Sustainable growth begins with strong operations, disciplined governance, capable people and continuous innovation.'

He added:

'Our customers are not simply looking for a transportation provider. They are looking for a logistics partner that understands their business, protects their products and helps them operate more efficiently. Every investment we make—from infrastructure and technology to people and processes—is ultimately aimed at creating greater value for our customers.'

Partnership with Mapletree

NETCO also expressed its appreciation to Mapletree for its partnership in establishing the Northern Regional Operations Hub.

The world-class infrastructure and strategic location provided by Mapletree Logistics Park Hung Yen create an ideal operating environment that supports NETCO's continued growth while enabling higher operational efficiency and service reliability.

NETCO values its collaboration with Mapletree and looks forward to further strengthening the partnership as both companies continue contributing to the development of Vietnam's logistics ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

Vietnam remains one of GDEX Group's most important strategic markets in ASEAN.

Driven by continued manufacturing expansion, growing foreign direct investment and increasing demand for integrated logistics solutions, Vietnam presents significant opportunities for long-term growth.

By combining NETCO's deep understanding of the local market with GDEX's regional expertise, technology and network, the company aims to deliver increasingly integrated, customer-centric logistics solutions that support businesses across Vietnam and beyond.

The launch of the Northern Regional Operations Hub at Mapletree Hung Yen marks another important milestone in NETCO's journey to build a modern, technology-enabled and trusted logistics platform—one that is designed not only to meet today's business needs, but also to support the future growth of customers across the region.
